Stoughton Woman Dies in Canton Car Crash

A 64-year-old woman died in a two-car crash in Canton on June 24, according to the Norfolk County District Attorney's office.

Sara Escudero, a 64-year-old Stoughton woman, died in an early-morning car crash Sunday in Canton, according to the Patriot Ledger.

The two-car accident occurred at 5:45 a.m. on June 24 at 230 Turnpike St. in Canton, a spokesperson for the Norfolk County District Attorney's office told the Boston Globe.

The Globe also reported that a person in the other vehicle involved in the crash sustained injuries and was transported to Boston Medical Center.

Escudero was on her way to work, the Patriot Ledger reports. She is a nurse at the Hebrew Rehabilitation Center in Roslindale.

Escudero is survived by her husband of 43 years, four daughters and two grandchildren.
