Stoughton Teen and Three Brockton Teens Plead Not Guilty to Murder of Randolph Man

Four teens, three from Brockton and one from Stoughton, are charged in the shooting death of a 21-year-old from Randolph this past Saturday.

A 19-year-old Stoughton teen is one of four who have been arrested for the murder of a 21-year-old Randolph man on Saturday night.

Three Brockton teens and Allison Deshowitz, 19, of Stoughton were arraigned in Quincy District Court on Monday. All four pled not guilty, but are being held without bail until a December 27 hearing, according to FOX 25-TV.

The Boston Globe reports that 17-year-old Nathan Lugo of Brockton allegedly shot Kyle McManus of Randolph in the face Saturday night, outside of McManus’ parent’s home on Wales Ave. in Randolph.

Brian Moulton, 18, and Devante Thames, 18, both from Brockton, and Deshowitz, are all charged with “murder as part of a joint venture,” the Globe reports.

The shooting took place during an alleged drug deal, according to the Globe.

The arraignment made headlines when supporters of the victim and of the four suspects got into a brawl both inside and outside of the Quincy courtroom. FOX25-TV reports five people were arrested for disorderly conduct as a result. None of the five were from Stoughton.
