Stoughton Police Recover About 25 Pounds of Marijuana in Drug Bust

Stoughton Police Detectives arrested a Duxbury man after serving a search warrant at a Stoughton home Tuesday afternoon on Fosters Run.

Detectives from the arrested a Duxbury man living in Stoughton, after recovering approximately 25 pounds of marijuana from a home on Fosters Run Tuesday at 2 p.m., according to the Department’s Facebook page.

Michael L. Vercollone of Duxbury, but living at a home on Fosters Run in Stoughton, was arrested and charged with possession to distribute class D and E substances as well as possession of class B and C substances, according to the SPD Facebook page.

The arrest is the end result of Stoughton Police Detectives serving a search warrant on Fosters Run, a street located in a neighborhood off Bay Road.

In addition to the recovery of 25 pounds of marijuana, Police also found pills and cash, according to the SPD Facebook page.

Detective Kevin Lima and Officer John Hartford led the SPD’s efforts. The Stoughton Police also received assistance from the Foxboro Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police.
