Stoughton Police Organizing Donation Drive for Victims of Hurricane Sandy

The Stoughton Police will be collecting donations (non-perishable foods, water, clothing, etc.) for victims of Hurricane Sandy at the police station until Nov. 10. The donations will be sent to victims in Staten Island, NY.

"Saddened and horrified by the condition of our neighbors in the New York area" after Hurricane Sandy hit the New York/New Jersey region last week, the Stoughton Police Department announced on its Facebook Page Monday morning a way for Stoughton residents to help lend a hand to the storm's victims.

Donations of non-perishable foods; cleaning products; bottled water; gently used clothing; jackets (and cold weather gear) for men, women and children; packages of new socks; underwear; and toiletries, etc. can be dropped off at the Stoughton Police Station (in the community room) Monday, Nov. 5 after 4 p.m. until Saturday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m.

The Police Station is located on Rose St.
