Stoughton Police Offer Narcan Training to Norfolk County First Responders

The Stoughton Police Department has also produced a training video on administering the nasal treatment used to counter the effects of opiate overdose.

Stoughton Police and Fire officials this week took to training first responders across Norfolk County in the use of Narcan, a nasal treatment used to counter the effects of opiate overdose. 

Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey was present at the county-wide training this week, and commended several police officials for having the courage and foresight to institute this program.

The Stoughton Police Department previously filmed a training video to be used statewide on administering Narcan.
