Stoughton Police Make Arrests for Drunk Driving, Shoplifting

Drunk Driving

Stoughton Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at 724 Page St. at 8:15 p.m. Feb. 5, resulting in the arrest of Daniel Dugan.

Dugan, 56, of Stonewood Dr. in Canton, was arrested and charged with allegedly operating under the influence of alcohol, as well as a marked lanes violation and negligently operating a motor vehicle.

And, Tanya Holland, 34, of Cedar St. in Stoughton, was charged with allegedly operating under the influence of alcohol, as well as a marked lanes violation and negligently operating a motor vehicle, following a motor vehicle stop at 1044 Park St. Feb. 3 at 1:21 a.m.

Shoplifting

A group of four were charged with shoplifting from the Stoughton Target at 1 Hawes Way the evening of Feb. 5. The alleged incident occurred at 8:26 p.m.

  • Anna Ramos DaSilva, 19, of Central St. in Stoughton, was charged with five counts of larceny from a building and two counts of conspiracy.
  • Jasmine Dargon, 21, of Oliver St. in Mattapoisett, was charged with two counts of larceny from a building and two counts of conspiracy. 
  • Alicia Gomes, 23, of E. Main St. in Norton, was charged with two counts of larceny from a building and two counts of conspiracy.
  • Kristina Anazalone, 25, of Sachem St. in Quincy, was charged with a single count of larceny from a building and conspiracy.

And, Scott MacNeil, 43, of Manning St. in Ipswich, was charged with shoplifting more than $100 by asportation following an alleged incident at the Rite Aid at 638 Washington St. Feb. 2 at 11:38 a.m. 

Police received a call from an employee there stating he was chasing a shoplifter (MacNeil) who went across the street to the STOYAC football field behind the old Family Dollar store. MacNeil ran back to his vehicle in the Shaw's Plaza parking lot, the police log states. He allegedly stole sunglasses.

Hit and Run

Nancy Urena, 51, of June St. in Roslindale, was charged with leaving the scene of personal injury and failure to file an accident report, following an alleged hit and run motor vehicle accident Feb. 4 at 4:37 p.m. at the intersection of Park St. and Haynes Rd.

Suspended License 

McHernstein Antoine, 24, of Lucas Dr. in Stoughton, was charged with allegedly operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended for OUI and for leaving the scene of property damage, following a motor vehicle accident at 474 Bay Rd. Feb. 3 at 2:18 a.m.

Motor Vehicle Stop

Porfirio Felipe DaSilva, 25, of Central St. in Stoughton, was charged following a motor vehicle stop at the Bob's Foodmart Plaza at 289 Park St. Feb. 2 at 2:47 p.m.

DaSilva was charged with possession of marijuana (less than an ounce); operating an uninsured motor vehicle; attaching plates to a motor vehicle; and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. DaSilva also had an outstanding warrant.

Disabled Motor Vehicle

Stoughton Police responded to a disabled motor vehicle at the intersection of Park St. and Tenth St. Feb. 1 at 7:47 p.m. 

Ashley Finney, 20, of Prospect St. in Stoughton, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration; having a child under the age of five in the vehicle without a carseat; and for speeding in violation of a special regulation.
