Stoughton Police Looking for Suspect in Citizens Bank Robbery

The Citizens Bank in the Stoughton Stop and Shop was robbed Thursday evening.

Stoughton Police are looking for the suspect involved in the Wednesday evening robbery of Citizens Bank in the at 278 Washington St.

The suspect is described as a white female, 5'4", and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark glasses and a dark colored Red Sox baseball cap, Lt. Fran Wohlgemuth of the said.

The robbery took place at 6:28 p.m. on September 6.

The unarmed suspect passed a note to the teller, Wohlgemuth said. The amount stolen is undetermined.

After fleeing the supermarket bank on foot to nearby Charles Ave. Ext., the suspect possibly left in a dark colored vehicle possibly accompanied by a black male, Wohlgemuth said.
