Stoughton Police Looking for Alleged Jewelry Thief

Stoughton Police received a shoplifting report from Goldcrafters Exchange on the Avon line Tuesday afternoon.

are looking for a Hispanic male who allegedly shoplifted a diamond setting from Goldcrafters Exchange at 37 Dykeman Way in Stoughton, on the Avon line Tuesday afternoon.

Stoughton Police Executive Officer Robert Devine said the male, described as skinny, about 5'6" and wearing a trench coat, walked in the storefront, asked to take a look at a diamond setting and then took off. 

The alleged incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on May 22.

The suspect is reported to have left the scene driving a silver-colored caravan, Devine said.
