Stoughton Police Log Nov. 28: Busy Thanksgiving Day

Thursday, Nov. 28

1:06 a.m. Disturbance, Pearl Street, loud music playing. Parties advised to lower music. 
1:31 a.m. Disturbance, Wendy's. Officers drove party to Canton line. Party was tired and just got off work.
2:16 a.m. Suspicious activity, Pleasant Street. Caller reported hit and run heading toward Stoughton Center. Car should have had front-end damage and passenger-side damage. Officers unable to locate vehicle.
7:53 a.m. Suspicious activity, Twin's Beauty Salon, Central Street. White male, gray sweatpants, black shirt carrying blue bag with white straps walking in their back yard. Officers spoke with party and he was delivering newspapers.
8 a.m. Suspicious person, Walgreens Co., Washington Street. Elderly female almost struck by motor vehicle. Services rendered.
8:49 a.m. 911 ambulance, Wyman Street, caller requested ambulance, call transferred to fire department.
10:49 a.m. Suspicious motor vehicles, BJ's Wholesale Club, Technology Drive, multiple vehicles spinning tires in parking lot.
2:55 p.m. Road hazard, Canton Street and School Street, caller stated stop sign turned in wrong direction, Needed to have bracket tightened.
3:37 p.m. 911 ambulance call, Plain Street, transferred to fire department.
5:32 p.m. 911 ambulance call, Faxon Street, transferred to fire department.
7:14 p.m. 911 ambulance call, Charles Avenue, transferred to fire department. 9:35 p.m. Motor vehicle stop, vehicle off the road, Central Street and Ethyl Way.
11:34 p.m. Patrol request, RK Plaza, Park Street, several people waiting outside for Game Stop to open.
