Stoughton Police Log July 15: Juvenile Arrest for Domestic Violence

The following information is from the Stoughton Police logs. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

At 5:01 a.m., police received two calls reporting noise disturbances. The first caller described five gun shots and the second caller stated she was awakened by fireworks. Officers checked the area at Plain Street and Hunt Drive. They were unable to locate the source of the disturbance.

At 7:56 a.m., police received a call reporting an over-night break in at a property on Central Street. An officer was dispatched to investigate.

At 9:49 a.m., police arrested a driver during a motor vehicle stop on Plain Street.

At 10:48 a.m., police arrested a female during a motor vehicle stop at Cedar Hill Golf Course.

At 11:41 a.m., police received a call reporting a dog in a car at BJ’s Wholesale Club. Officers investigated.

At 11:59 a.m., police received a call reporting a dog in a commercial vehicle with no windows open at Target on Hawes Way. Officer could not locate the vehicle.

At 12:05 p.m., police arrested a 15-year-old juvenile at Pleasant Street on charges of assault and battery by dangerous weapon and domestic violence.

At 2:02 p.m., police assisted at the scene of a motor vehicle accident at Central Street and Washington. They responded to a call from a female who stated she was hit from behind by another vehicle.

At 2:25 p.m., police responded to a call stating there was a vehicle with a dog inside on Technology Center Drive. The caller went into the business to enquire. When the officer arrived on the scene, the owner of the car was leaving.

At 7:26 p.m., a female party came to Stoughton Police Station reporting she was assaulted at Costco in Avon, MA. Party was sent to Avon Police Department for a report.

At 11:15 p.m., police responded to a report of an intoxicated party walking in traffic on Washington Street, yelling at the cars. Officers located party sitting on a bench. He was not intoxicated, he was advised and sent on his way.
