Stoughton Police Log Jan. 7: Down Wires, Slippery Roads

Tuesday, Jan. 7:
3 a.m. PWD was notified of road conditions.
3:20 a.m. State highway department was notified of slippery road conditions. 8:20 a.m. Caller said the arms for the railroad crossing on School Street weren't working. The MBTA was notified.
9:46 a.m. Officer was sent to talk with party on Lothrup Street about safety of vehicle.
10:47 a.m. Trumpet was reported stolen at O'Donnell Middle School.
1:27 p.m. Party reported an assault on Central Street.
2:41 p.m. Motor vehicle accident on Park and Walnut streets.
2:51 p.m. Downed wire in the road at McDonald's, Washington Street. Fire department removed it.
2:59 p.m. 911 fire call at J.F. White Contracting Co., Old Page Street for a vehicle on fire. Fire department was notified.
5:01 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Technology Drive. Call was transferred to fire department.
5:07 p.m. Caller reported someone was making charges on their credit card. 5:37 p.m. Water hazard reported on Avalon Street.
6:36 p.m. Disabled vehicle in Stoughton Center. Officer helped party move their vehicle.
7:02 p.m. Caller in to station to report hit and run motor vehicle accident at IKEA, 1 IKEA Way.
9:14 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Central Street.
10:03 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Kristen Drive.
10:27 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Copley Health Care, Sumner Street.
