Stoughton Police Log Jan. 3: Water Problems in Town

The following are incidents from the Stoughton Police Log for Saturday, Jan. 4.

Saturday, Jan. 4:
12:51 a.m. Disabled motor vehicle  at Central Street and Pleasant Street was towed by Rick's.
6:39 a.m. Caller stated power is out  and alarm is sounding at Stoughton Housing, Capen Street. Caller contacted maintence and the fire department was notified.
7:22 a.m. Caller on Powell Street reported there was no water. Public Works Department was notified.
9:25 a.m. Request for an ambulance for East Vanston Road.
9:27 a.m. Daly Drive resident reporting they have no water in home.
10:02 a.m. 911 ambulance call for Kristen Drive.
10:19 a.m. 911 ambulance call for Park Street.
10:27 a.m. Water pipe broke inside Cross Street garage.
10:46 a.m. Transported unwanted party at Stoughton Motel to hospital.
11:33 a.m. Motor vehicle accident in front of Sheehan Funeral Home, Monk Street.
12:44 a.m. Seaver Street party requested to speak to officer about stolen check.
1:14 p.m. Road hazard reported at St. Vincent dePaul Society. Public Works notified.
1:21 p.m. Party on Fernwood Road reporting they have no water. Public Works notified.
1:35 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Wentworth Avenue.
1:28 p.m. Motor vehicle accident at School Street and Canton Street.
2:42 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Whitten Avenue.2:33 p.m. Disturbance at LA Fitness, Hawes Way. Party was alleged to have caused problems, yelling racial slurs and was going to start an altercation. Party was advised, left the premises and canceled membership.
2:39 p.m. Hit and run motor vehicle accident at TJ MAXX, RK Plaza, Park Street.
2:42 p.m. PWD notified the snow has to be removed from Turnpike Street.
3:07 p.m. Car stuck in snow at Central Street and Turnpike Street.
3:17 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Planet Fitness, Washington Street. Party was transported to hospital.
3:27 p.m. Caller stated water was coming out of a window on Technology Center Drive. Fire Department was notified.
3:30 p.m. PWD notified for water main break at Rental Depot, across from Stop & Shop.
3:44 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Copperwood Drive.
4:12 p.m. Water leak inside Forest Road home. They were advised to call the  Fire Department.
4:27 p.m. Motor vehicle accident at Highland Street. Vehicle spun out and went off the road. Friend towed it out, but it got stuck in the roadway with a boulder underneath. Rick's Auto removed.
5 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Bailey Street.
5:09 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Turnpike Street.
5:29 p.m. Motor vehicle for Technology Center Drive. Papers were swapped.
5:44 p.m. Car in snow bank at Central Seafood, Central Street. It was removed without any damage.
6:01 p.m. Water leak inside Technology Center Drive apartment. Fire Department notified.
7:53 p.m. Shoplifting at Kohl's, Technology Center Drive. Arrested Roseline Joseph, 41, Linwood Park, Brockton, charged with larceny over $250.
8:44 p.m. Arrested Cheryl A. Haddad, 41, Drake Avenue, Stoughton, charged with assault and battery.
9:08 p.m. Alex's reported customer passed counterfeit money.
10:11 p.m. Unwanted party of Lacivita Court was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
10:15 p.m. Medical emergency for Seaver Street. Fire Department notified.
11:33 p.m. Car on fire reported on Lincoln Street. Fire Department notified.
