Stoughton Police Log Jan. 15: Stolen Property, Shoplifting Arrest

Wednesday, Jan. 15

1:23 a.m. 911 ambulance call for Mobil Oil Corp., Washington Street.
1:41 a.m. 911 ambulance call for Bay Road.
5:53 a.m. Caller reported property stolen from his room at the Stoughton Motel, Washington Street. Officer spoke with party.
7:15 a.m. Single car accident on York Street with damage to tire.
7:17 a.m. Roads icy at Morton and Washington streets.
7:33 a.m. Caller stated someone left a black bag leaning up against a building at the MBTA lot. It was a bag of gym clothes.
8:07 a.m. Pot holes on York Street. PWD was notified.
8:41 a.m. Dead cat reported in the road at the Water Works on Central Street. Animal control responded.
10:04 a.m. 911 ambulance call for Buckley Road.
10:30 a.m. Party into station to report fraud. Officer to investigate.
10:41 a.m. Animal control call for Daddy's Dairy, Washington Street, as a small dog was running into traffic.
10:57 a.m. Disabled motor vehicle on Hawes Way. AAA was on the scene.
1:53 p.m. Shoplifting arrest at Target, Hawes Way. Arrested Tara Lee Paolini, 31, Donahue Way, Stoughton, larceny over $250, possession Class B drug, possession Class C drug.
2:44 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Technology Drive. Call transferred to fire department.
3:13 p.m. Party asked to speak with officer about possible credit card fraud.
3:21 p.m. 911 ambulance at Goddard/Brockton Kidney Center, Sumner Street. Call transferred to fire department.
4:16 p.m. Breaking and entering into a motor vehicle on Barnes Road.
4:34 p.m. Wires hanging outside of a home on roadway on Wyman Street. All was cleared.
4:46 p.m. A hit and run was reported at TJ Maxx, Park Street. Party was to come into station in the morning.
6:14 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Howland Circle, transferred to fire department.
6:31 p.m. Caller reported dog was struck and killed on Canton Street. Officer took dog to the pound.
