Stoughton Police Log Dec. 31: Unattended Bag Left at Train Station

Tuesday, Dec. 31:
1:32 a.m. Motor vehicle accident, Canton line, Washington Street. Two cars with serious injuries. State Police Motor Vehicle Crash Reconstruction Team and District Attorney's Office Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit noted at 2:28 a.m. Cars towed by Sherm's Automotive per request of Massachusetts State Police Motor Vehicle Crash Reconstruction Team. Road open and all units were clear at 4:47 a.m.
6:23 a.m. Caller reported that the railroad crossing gates were stuck in the down position. MBTA police notified and responding.
8:56 a.m. 911 ambulance at Lappen's Auto, Page Street, for employee.
10:20 a.m. Hunters trespassing at PWD Water Shed, Bay Road.
10:33 a.m. 911 ambulance, Central Drive, transferred to fire department.
11:06 a.m. PWD notification of a road sinking in front of apartment building across the street from high school.
12:09 p.m. Boston Interior on Page Street reports equipment stolen from black dump trailer on property.
12:57 p.m. Motor vehicle accident at Rose and Porter streets.
2:20 p.m. Caller states weapon was pulled on them and their friend. Suspect left in a gold Honda. State Police Crime Scene Unit notified and responding. State Police arrived at 3:44 p.m. Summons issued for Corey W. Juskewicz, 21, Buckley Road, Stoughton. Charges home invasion, firearm, assault in a dwelling, armed with firearm, carrying firearm without a license, malicious destruction of property more than $250, firearm-armed kidnapping.
2:27 p.m. Shoplifting at Technology Center Drive, arrested Samantha Modist, 39, Hickey Circle, Stoughton, warrant service, shoplifting $100 plus by price tag tampering.
4:53 p.m. MBTA reports unattended luggage at train station, Wyman Street. MBTA K-9 unit responded. Scene declared safe.
7:02 p.m. Motor vehicle accident Plain Street and Bay Road.
7:16 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Copley Health Care, Sumner Street, call transferred to fire department.
8:59 p.m. 911 ambulance call for Page Terrence, call transferred to fire department.
9:48 p.m. Motor vehicle stop at Rick's Automotive, Park Street, summons issued to John M. Thompson, 21, operating after license suspended, failure to stop/yield.
