Stoughton Looking to Hire Fire Apparatus Mechanic

The town of Stoughton is lokoing to hire a full-time fire apparatus mechanic who will be responsible for maintenance and repair of all the Stoughton Fire Department's vehicles, apparatus and equipment. 

The ideal candidate, according to the job description, would have specialized knowledge of firefighting rescue vehicles and equipment and the ability to work "within the confines of a predetermined budget." 

The salary range for the position is between $51,335.20 and $64,126.40. Those who apply are subject to a CORI check and pre-employment physical, officials said.
