Stoughton Driver Cited in Four Car Crash in Easton

The Monday evening incident was the result of a failure to yield, Easton Police said. One person was transported to the hospital.

One person was transported to the hospital Monday evening after a four-car accident at the intersection of Turnpike and Purchase Street in Easton.

Easton Police Chief Allen Krajcik said a Stoughton driver failing to yield resulted in the chain reaction accident.

"Investigation by Officer Keith Boone indicates that a 2006 Buick operated by Joseph Cohen, age 18, of Jefferson Court [in] Stoughton stopped at the stop sign on Purchase Street but then failed to yield to a vehicle heading northbound on Turnpike," Krajcik said in a statement.
