Stoughton Dep. Police Chief Issues Medication Box Reminder
Several needles were found in the take-back box at the Stoughton Police Department this week.
Stoughton Dep. Police Chief Robert Devine this week issued a reminder to residents that liquids and needles are not allowed in the medication box that is located in the Stoughton Police Department's main lobby.
The reminder comes after "a large number" of needles were found in the take-back box, Devine said in a statement.
Needles, Devine said, "put our members at risk and will lead to a potential shutdown of service. Please be mindful and read the instructions before dropping your meds."
