Police Log: Shoplifter at Kohl's, Suspicious Footprints Found in Snow

The following information was provided by the Stoughton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, Feb. 10

At 11:02 a.m., Stoughton police received a report from the Stoughton Department of Public Works of a suspicious van occupied by a male party at the local dog pound. Police were unable to locate the owner of the vehicle. 

At 12:41 p.m., police issued a criminal summons to a Dorchester man for driving with a suspended license and driving a vehicle that does not meet the Registry of Motor Vehicles' safety standards.

At 2:22 p.m., police responded to Kohl's on Technology Center Drive after receiving a report of a shoplifter running up and down the road. The suspect was described as being a white male who entered a white van with a ladder on top. 

At 5:43 p.m., police responded to Target after receiving a report of a juvenile shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, police issued a summons to the juvenile for shoplifting by asportation.

Tuesday, Feb. 11

At 8:57 p.m., police received a report from a Central Drive resident who claimed they spotted foot prints in the snow around their home, as well as a cut screen in their back yard. 

At 9:26 p.m., police received a report of a male in the area of Target driving around and smoking marijuana. Police could not locate the individual upon arrival.
