Police Log: Possible Kidnapping, Fight at Stoughton High School

The following information was provided by the Stoughton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Saturday, Feb. 1

At 12:43 a.m., police responded to the area of Gay and Washington streets, where they arrested a Stoughton woman, aged 47, on a warrant. 

At 7:44 a.m., police received a report of a kidnapping in the area of Page Street. A male individual called police report that his wife was allegedly "taken by Asian men, dressed in black," according to police records. Upon further investigation, the man told police that his wife may have left on her own as she had packed her bags.

At 11:32 p.m., police arrested a South Easton man, aged 27, on a warrant. 

Friday, Jan. 31

At 9:40 a.m., police responded to Cushing Street on a report of breaking and entering. 

At 10:15 a.m., police responded to Denneno's Pizza on Pearl Street on a report of a male party who was allegedly seen entering the back door of the business, which was closed at the time. Upon investigation police determined the individual to be an employee of the business. 

At 10:56 a.m., police responded to Stoughton High School, where they received a report of a fight in a class room. One person was transported to an area hospital for evaluation, according to police records. 

At 5:45 p.m., police placed a Sharon woman, aged 55, into protective custody after responding to Bob's Foodmart on Park Street, where officers received a report of a female party asleep at the wheel in the parking lot.
