Police Log: Four Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges After Search Warrant

The following information was provided by the Stoughton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, July 21

At 5:03 a.m., Stoughton police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident near the Town Spa on Washington Street. Police issued a summons to a 39-year-old Stoughton man for driving with a suspended license (subsequent offense) and a marked lanes violation.

At 6:43 a.m., police received a report that two catalytic converters were stolen from Page Street. The matter is under investigation.

At 9:19 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious person reportedly videotaping juveniles near the Sommersault Gymnastic Center on Page Street. Officers respond to speak with the parties involved.

At 10:28 a.m., police responded to the Randolph Savings Bank on Sharon Street, where two male parties were spotted allegedly taking photos of the bank, as well as Citizens Bank. Officers were unable to locate the individuals and advised bank employees of the incident.

At 11:59 a.m., police received a report of a robbery in the area of Walnut and Pierce streets, where a local man claimed someone had pulled up to him and took his wallet.

At 10:35 p.m., police responded to Washington Street on a report of a burglar alarm. Officers subsequently arrested Kevin Barkey, 59, of Stoughton on a warrant.

Tuesday, July 22

At 3:15 a.m., police received a report from a local resident that upon arriving home from vacation, he found the door to his apartment unlocked and in disarray.

At 11:08 a.m., a female shoplifter was reported at Kohl's on Technology Center Drive. The suspect was gone on arrival, and officers contacted the Pembroke Police Department to attempt making contact at the vehicle owner's address, according to police reports.

At 12:31 p.m., police arrested Robert MacLellan, 24, of Stoughton, on a warrant.

At 12:48 p.m., police responded to Kohl's on a report of shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

At 6:39 p.m., police responded to Faxon Road on a report of a disturbance and subsequently arrested Robert Jokinen, 49, of Stoughton, on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, threats to commit a crime and obstruction of justice, and Walter Washington, 50, of Stoughton, for assault and battery by dangerous weapon.

At 6:42 p.m., police received a report from a School Street resident that youths on his property allegedly threatened to assault him. Police responded and found that no threats had been made, the argument being over a parking spot, according to police reports.

At 10:21 p.m., police issued a summons to a Stoughton man for driving an uninsured vehicle.

Wednesday, July 23

At 5:13 a.m., officers and detectives responded to Walnut Court to execute a search warrant. Animal Control detained two pit bulls and took them to the pound, and police subsequently arrested the four following Stoughton residents:

  • Christopher Covel, 36, for possession of a Class A substance, possession to distribute a Class A substance, possession of a Class B substance, possession of a Class E substance and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
  • Michael Robicheau, 28, for possession to distribute a Class A substance, conspiracy to violate drug laws, possession of a Class B substance, possession of a false/stolen RMV document, receiving stolen property of more than $250 and possession of a Class E substance.
  • Aimee Robicheau, 26, for being present where kept heroin, possession of Class B and Class E substances, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and possession to distribute a Class A substance.
  • James Robicheau, 27, for possession of a Class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
At 4:48 p.m., police issued a summons to a 29-year-old Canton resident for taking an improper left turn unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
