Police Log: Fights Reported at Stoughton Lodge, Pearl Street

The following information was provided by the Stoughton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, March 24

At 12:09 a.m., Stoughton police received a report of a suspicious party walking up and down Stoughton Street, and the caller also reported that a few nights prior a man wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt had been looking into a neighbor's window. Officers responded to the area but could not locate anyone.

At 10:39 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious man on a red bike in the area of Raymond Road. The man was reportedly looking in driveways in the area. Police responded but were unable to locate the man.

Tuesday, March 25

At 3:36 a.m., police received a report of a fight in the parking lot of the Stoughton Lodge, where a group of four or five individuals were seen allegedly beating up another person. The caller reportedly hung up before police were able to obtain more information, and after numerous attempts to call the person back, dispatchers were able to leave a message on the caller's phone. The caller did not call back, and police searched the area but were unable to locate a fight.

At 4:24 a.m., polie responded to Technology Drive on a report of two suspicious-looking males in the area. Officers responded but found no one in the area.

At 5:56 p.m., police responded to Pearl Street on a report of a fight. After responding, police issued a criminal summons to two Stoughton residents for threat to commit a crime.

Wednesday, March 26

At 8 p.m. police received a report of shoplifting at Stop and Shop, and subsequently issued a summons to a Stoughton woman for shoplifting by concealing merchandise. 

Thursday, March 27

At 7:08 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious person at Advanced Auto Parts on Washington Street. Upon arrival, police issued a summons to a Stoughton man for threat to commit a crime and disorderly conduct.

At 12:36 p.m., police responded to School Street on a report of past breaking and entering, and issued a summons to a Stoughton woman and a Randolph woman, both for malicious damage under $250 and breaking and entering for misdemeanor.
