Homeless Man Arrested

A homeless man was arrested Sunday morning in Stoughton after he allegedly threatened a manager at the McDonald's on Washington St. with a pair of scissors, according to the Stoughton Police log.

Frederick King, 64, was arrested around 11 a.m. on July 29 , charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

Earlier on Sunday, around 9:15 a.m., police received a call from Page's on Pearl St. reporting a homeless male who was "annoying customers."

When police arrived, officers removed a man by the same name (Frederick King) from Page's, according to the log.

Drug Arrest

At 12:39 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, police attempted to serve a warrant to Xavier Frederick, 22, of Olivia Ct. in Stoughton.

He was located at Jimmy's Market, according to the police log, but then took off on foot towards Walnut St., with an officer in pursuit. An officer was able to locate Frederick on Seaver St. and placed him under arrest.

Frederick was charged with resisting arrest and Class B drug possession. He was also served a warrant.

Later on Sunday at 3:12 p.m., police received a call that a citizen found a wallet and knife in his back yard on Elgin St. from the person who was running from the police.

Drunk Driver Arrested

Police arrested a drunk driver from Stoughton at 2:14 a.m. on Saturday, July 28.

A vehicle operated by Allen Kingsbury, 53, of Park St. in Stoughton was stopped at the corner of Pleasant St. and Prospect St.

He is charged with operating under the influence of liquor; marked lanes violation; negligent operation of a motor vehicle; and a number plate violation.

Man Arrested for Operating Uninsured, Unregistered Motor Vehicle

A Randolph man was arrested following a motor vehicle stop at Central St. and Lakewood Dr. in Stoughton at 12:10 p.m. on July 28.

Patrick Nerese, 33, was operating what is described in the police log as a "Maryland Mac truck" and is charged with driving an uninsured motor vehicle; driving an unregistered motor vehicle; attaching plates to a motor vehicle; having defective break lights; and misuse of a dealer plate.

Operating Without a License

A Britton Ave. resident was stopped on Prospect St. at 9:38 a.m. on Monday, July 30.

Jeanette Rodriguez, 26, of Stoughton, was charged with speeding and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
