The Dec. 8 hit-and-run on Park St. in Stoughton sent a 15-year-old male pedestrian to the hospital. Potential charges have not been filed at this time, police said.

The vehicle involved in Saturday evening's hit and run on Park St. in Stoughton, which sent a teenage boy to the hospital, has been turned over to the Stoughton Police for processing, The SPD announced in a release on the Department's Facebook page Wednesday morning.

"A white 1996 Cadillac Seville has been identified and the investigation surrounding the circumstances of the crash is on going," the release states. "Potential charges have not been determined as of this time."

A 15-year-old male pedestrian was allegedly struck by a car traveling South on Park St./Route 27 near the Chateau Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:45 p.m.

After making contact with the victim, the car kept traveling towards Brockton.

The victim sustained multi-system trauma and was transported in a Stoughton Fire Department ambulance to Boston Medical Center.

Stoughton Police Executive Officer Robert Devine said the victim's injuries are non-life threatening.

Police were working off a vague description of the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run - a light in color, older model Cadillac with probable front end damage - but an individual did come forward to turn the vehicle over to police, Devine said.
