Area police departments are looking for the suspect in a string of recent armed robberies at Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in several nearby communities including Canton, Newton, West Roxbury, Westwood, Norwood, Walpole, Plainville, Norton, North Attleborough, Raynham and Easton, according to the Canton Police Department.
While no Dunkin' Donuts locations in Stoughton have been targeted as of posting, the Stoughton Police have advised residents to be on the lookout, posting the following message on the Department's Facebook page:
Be on the lookout: Several area towns have suffered armed robberies at Dunkin Donuts stores in the evening hours.
The suspect appears to be the same person and is reported as a White/Hispanic male, 5’7” – 5’9” wearing several different black hooded sweatshirts.
Possible suspect vehicles are a black or dark colored SUV and a gray or light colored 4 door sedan.
Should anyone see any suspicious activity at any of the Stoughton DDs, especially involving someone of this description, please contact us immediately.
With warm weather the next several weeks, the sweatshirts alone may look out of place. Plate numbers are always helpful. Thank you.
