Superintendent Rizzi and my fellow school committee members knew that I had to be out of state on April 1, 2014 but rescheduled our regular meeting that was supposed to be on April 8, 2014, to the date I can’t be in Town. Please see my earlier post on this matter at:

The agenda of this meeting, and the information included in the meeting packet reveals that Dr. Rizzi is planning to ask the school committee to move more money around, amounting to: $342,000.

More specifically, Dr. Rizzi would like to raid the Instruction Salary budget this time and:
· Move $175,000 from Instruction Salary to Special Ed. Transportation,

· Move $117,000 from Instruction Salary to Regular Ed. Transportation,
· Move $50,000 from Instruction Salary to Unemployment.
I hope Dr. Rizzi will have a good explanation for not spending the SPS instruction money on teaching the regular ed, special ed, ELL and gifted kids.
With all that money shuffling, Superintendent Rizzi is making me dizzy.
