ROCKIN, ROLLING, AND BLUES AT TEMPLE: Fans of rock and blues are marking their calendars now for an amazing concert and dance event on Saturday, November 3 at Ahavath Torah Congregation, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Top-rated Vinny Serino and the Boston Baked Blues, backed by the Full House horns will open, with Danny Klein's Full House as the featured band.

Tickets for this event is just $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Refreshments and snacks, beer and wine will be available for purchase. Ahavath Torah Congregation is located at 1179 Central Street, just off Route 138 in Stoughton.

Danny Klein, a founding member and one-and-only Ace on Bass for the mighty J. Geils Band, rips through all the J. Geils songs you know and love with his own band of local heroes, Danny Klein's Full House.

Klein and the boys can be found all around the Northeast U.S. at clubs, casinos, festivals, and private parties, rockin' the house to classic tunes like Centerfold, Freeze Frame, Musta Got Lost, Whammer Jammer, First I Look at the Purse... the list goes on and on, and so does the house party!  

In addition to Danny Klein on Bass, the band features Artie Eaton on lead vocals, Stevie G on guitar, Dave Q on keyboards, Rosey Rosenblatt on harp, Jim Taft on drums, John Vanderpool on sax, Dan Rabinowitz on trumpet, and John Ferry on Trombone.

MYSTERY DINNER THEATER FOR A GOOD CAUSE: There will be a dinner theater event for the family of Shayla Lutz, who was killed in a tragic accident on Central Street on Sept. 14. The show will be Saturday, Nov. 3 starting at 6:30 p.m. with dinner. 

Jan Jones and The Little Theatre of Stoughton will present a mystery play at the Old Colony YMCA in Stoughton. Cost is $40. The night will include dinner, auction, show and raffle. Limited seating is available.

REFLAGGING CEREMONY: On Saturday, November 3, all veterans graves will be reflagged at the Holy Sepulcher and Evergreen Cemeteries.

Please help at this honored tradition. It is a great thing for families to participate in! Veterans Officer Mike Pazyra will be meeting with interested families at 10 a.m. at the VFW Post 1645 (837 Washington Street outside Stoughton Center). Refreshments will be served there after the reflagging takes place.

HOLIDAY FAIR! The First Parish Universalist Church of Stoughton, 790 Washington St., has scheduled its 2012 Holiday Fair to Friday, Nov. 2, from 5-8 p.m, and Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Admission is FREE.  There will be tons of fun, plus baked goods, crafts, Christmas items, and a TON OF BOOKS!  Come on down, grab a bargain and a snack, and help your local church!
