STOUGHTON ACTRESS IN THE SPOTLIGHT: Stoughton resident Dale F. Appel, who just celebrated a birthday a couple of days ago, has been cast by Theatre One Productions in four out of 15 short new plays they are presenting this coming weekend.
Appel, a former camera person for the legendary Snyder's Stoughton TV Show, has been acting on stage and in film for many years.
She is a member of SAG-AFTRA and a supporting actress in the short films "A Manor of Speaking", "Cooking in Salem", and "Haunted in Depth!" Dale has worked on many films, TV pilots, commercials and live theatre - both scripted and interactive.
This Friday night, March 22, Appel will be in "Tombstone" and "Blind Date for the Downsized." Saturday night, March 23, Appel will co-star in "Security, Inc." and will also be in "Dante in Jiffy Lube."
She's one of 25 regional actors performing in Theatre One Production’s New Works Festival, this Friday and Saturday evening, March 22 -23 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoon, March 24 at 2 p.m.
“Slice of Life New Works Festival,” produced by Theatre One Productions, Inc. is held at the Alley Theatre, 133 Center St., in Middleboro.
All tickets are $15 cash at the door, and at all performances they accept food donations for the Middleboro COA Senior Pantry.
Theatre One Productions, Inc.is a nonprofit theatre company whose mission is to educate through theatre and promote New Works.

- Saturdays evening: The Unbelievable Lightness of Greening by Nina Mansfield, Dante in Jiffy Lube by Jean Yeager, Security, Inc by Joe Weintraub, Deadline by Richard Pacheco, The Annulment by Sheila Kelleher.
- Sunday afternoon: The Yarn Shop by Jonathan Ehrlich, Oddboys Metamorphosis by Kathleen Warnock, Opportunity by Vivienne Glance, Memento Murray by Christopher Lockheardt, Mason’s Jar by Fred Roberts.
