VARGAS ON A ROLL:  Carlos Vargas, of Vargas and Vargas Insurance Agency, is the only candidate for a seat on the Redevelopment Authority in the April 10th town election.

But, that's not the only good news for the Stoughton businessman.

Vargas was nominated for the Robert H. Quinn Award from UMass Boston. The award is for outstanding community leadership for exceptional service particularly through corporate partnerships.

HEY KIDS, BE AN EXPLORER! The 11th annual 10-week long Explorers Academy for ages 13-21 will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting April 3, 2012.

An orientation and sign-up night will be held at Stoughton Police Department headquarters on Rose Street, Tuesday, March 27 at 6 p.m.

It's a unique opportunity for kids to see what the police department's officers do, and to get a taste of law enforcement.  Highly recommended!
