OPERATION KIDSAFE: A free child safety event will be held at Kiddie Academy of Stoughton, 1202 Washington Street, on Saturday, March 2, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Operation KidSafe captures your child’s photo and fingerprints using a digital ink-less video capture device, and specialized software.
The captured data is then assembled and a quality 8.5 x 11” printout is given to the parent. The printout can be used to give law enforcement anywhere in the world information to INSTANTLY aid in an investigation.
It should be noted that no database or records of children are maintained. The only record of the visit will go home with the parents for safekeeping.
Keep it in a safe place, or in a bank safety box, in the event, God-forbid, that you need it.
All children one year and older, and special needs adults are encouraged to attend.
Local police and fire departments will be on site. All services and activities are FREE for families.
Kiddie Academy has a day full of fun planned for Saturday, in addition to Operation KidSafe.
Come meet Curious George; see the professional magic of Bryan Lizotte; enter a raffle for an iPad Mini; take a child bicycle safety class by MassBike; bring your teddybear or doll in for a checkup; get your face painted; or have fun doing arts and crafts.
There will be local vendors on site, including a kid's MMA and fitness booth; free hair designs by Hair Cuttery; dental healthcare advice; and CareCentral Urgent Care.
There will also be FREE food.
