Stoughton Obituary: Marie (Ceurvels) Moore

Marie F. (Ceurvels) Moore, 78, a longtime resident of Stoughton, passed away peacefully at her home on August 7, 2013.

She was the loving wife of 53 years of the late Frederick W. Moore.

Born and educated in South Boston, Marie was a self proclaimed "Domestic Engineer" at home with her family. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, shopping, taking the train to Boston, traveling and painting. She especially liked to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Moore was survived by her children: James M. of Stoughton, Theresa A. Theobald of Assonet, Catherine R. Lekberg and her husband Christopher of VT and Judi A. Moore and her children who were caretakers of their grandmother; Rose and Jacob Mann of Stoughton.

She was predeceased by her son Christopher W. Moore. She was the sister of James Ceurvels of Woburn, William Ceurvels of Tewksbury and Michael Ceurvels of Dover and the late Francis, John and Charles Ceurvels.

Mrs. Moore is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) in Stoughton on Thursday, August 8, at 8 p.m. Visiting Hours prior to the services from 5-8 p.m.
