Joseph J. Isbitsky

Joseph J. Isbitsky, of Stoughton, passed away October 3, 2012 at the age of 71.

He was the Beloved husband of Catherine (Davis) Isbitsky. Dear son of the late Ada & Nathan Isbitsky. Devoted father of Holly Boykin and her husband Bill of Stoughton, Julie McLaughlin and her husband Rick of Brockton, Adam Isbitsky of Dedham and Amanda Isbitsky of Whitman. Loving brother of the late Jack Isbitsky. Cherished grandfather of Kenneth, Matthew & Eric Boykin of Stoughton.

Services were held at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, in Canton on Sunday, October 7 with interment following at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 or to The Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20037.

Charles J. Heirty Jr.

Charles J. Heirty Jr., 81, of Stoughton, died October 5, at Braemoor nursing home in Brockton.

Born in Dorchester, son of the late Charles Sr. and Mary (Lydon) Heirty, he was raised and educated in Dorchester and attended Boston Trade School. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He worked for many years at Belcher Shoe Company in Stoughton and later at Burgess Brothers in Canton as a machinist, retiring in 1996.

Charlie lived for many years at Braemoor Nursing Home, where he leaves many dear friends among the residents and staff. He was very active with Alcoholics Anonymous for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed his dogs, gardening, cooking, watching TV and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Carle) Heirty, of Stoughton; four children, Debra Flynn and her husband Joe of Stoughton, Donna O'Donnell and her husband Richard of Palermo, ME, Charles J. "Joe" Heirty III of Stoughton, and Diane Pucino and her husband Anthony of Norton. He was a loving grandfather to his six grandchildren: Bill Flynn, Ricky O'Donnell, Tom O'Donnell, Ian Wilson, Jessica Pucino and Nicholas Pucino. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Ahern and Anna Heirty.

Funeral services will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, October 9 at 10 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held prior to the services from 9-10 a.m. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Donations in Charlie's memory may be made to the Braemoor Nursing Home Patient Activities Fund, 34 North Pearl St., Brockton, 02301.

Helen (Catalano) Lewis

Helen M. (Catalano) Lewis, 82, died peacefully Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Cyril S. "Stan" Lewis.

Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a lifelong resident of Stoughton and a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1947. Along with her husband, Mrs. Lewis was the owner and operator of Meadowbrook Campground in South Easton for over 20 years, retiring in 1985. She was a communicant of the St. James Church in Stoughton and the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church. Mrs. Lewis was a kind hearted and warm woman who was a dedicated and devoted mother and a beloved grandmother and great grandmother. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her three sons, Brian E. Lewis and his wife Pam of Bridgewater, Douglas E. Lewis and his wife Heather of Easton and Mark E. Lewis and his wife Karen of Groton. She was the beloved "Grammy" of Zachary, Melissa, Mackenzie, Emma, Nathanial, Benjamin, Chloe and Gabrielle and great grandmother of Zoe. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Gary and her brothers Paul Catalano, Patrick Catalano, John "Jack" Catalano and Harold Catalano.

Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Saturday, October 6 and was followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church in Stoughton. Interment took place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton.

Donations in Helen's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.

David Tal

David Tal of Stoughton passed away unexpectedly on September 30, 2012 at the age of 64.

Dear son of Josef Tal and Sarra Rosina. Beloved husband of Nellie (Kaspler) Tal. Devoted father of Marina Tal and her family.

Services were held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel in Brookline, MA on Wednesday, October 3. Burial followed at Kovner Cemetery in West Roxbury.

Theresa (Sheytanian) Conley

Theresa (Sheytanian) Conley, 86, of Stoughton, formerly of Dorchester, Braintree and Mashpee, died October 1, 2012 at the Arbors Assisted Living of Stoughton after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Conley.

Born in Arlington on October 10, 1925, a daughter of the late Alex and Agnes (Samajian) Sheytanian, she was raised and educated in Watertown and was a graduate of Watertown High School.

Theresa was a former member of the Braintree Women's Club, The New Seabury Women's Club and her hobbies included antiquing and playing cards.

She is survived by a daughter, Tracy Ann Martin and her husband John of Easton; a sister, Grace Andrews of FL.; and three grandchildren, John Martin, Elizabeth Martin, and Emily Martin all of Easton. She was also the sister of the late Mary Darakajian, Richard Sheytanian and Andrew Sheytanian.

Interment was private at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
