The following are obituaries for Stoughton residents or those with Stoughton ties for the week of February 17-23, 2013.

Sean P. McIntyre

Sean P. McIntyre, 42, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a battle with cancer.

He was the Beloved Son of William R. and Elizabeth A. (Mariano) McIntyre of Stoughton. Born in Newton, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a longtime resident of Stoughton.

He was a former Ironworker for Local 7 in Boston. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother William McIntyre and his wife Sheri of Easton and his niece Madison McIntyre. He is also survived by many friends.

Funeral arrangements handled by the Farley Funeral Home. 

A Funeral Mass was held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton on Saturday.

Trudy (Herrmann) Jagiello

Trudy (Herrmann) Jagiello, 70, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Braemoor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Brockton on Thursday, Feb. 21 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Edmund P.A. Jagiello, Jr.

Born and raised in Germany, she was a resident of Stoughton since 1970. Mrs. Jagiello was the owner of Signs by J in Dorchester for over 40 years before retiring 5 years ago.

She loved playing Mahjong and Bingo, baking, traveling back home to Germany and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Jagiello is survived by her children, Paula K. Cohen and her husband Michael and Edmund P.A. Jagiello, III and his wife Pamela all of Stoughton, as well as her grandchildren, Alexandra Cohen, Brandon Cohen, Jennifer Jagiello and Edmund P.A. Jagiello, IV.

She was the sister of Annerose Schlatterer and Ute Staar both of Germany. She is also survived by her dear friends, Ali and Monika Ali and family of Stoughton.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) in Stoughton on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James ChurchStoughton at 10 a.m. Visiting Hours will be Monday, Feb. 25 from 5-8 p.m. Interment will take place at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.

Blanca Sanchez

Blanca Sanchez, 85, a resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Thursday, Feb. 21 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Jose Antonio Farietta.

Born and raised in Colombia, she came to the United States in 1977 and settled in Cambridge. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1988. Mrs. Sanchez was a homemaker. Blanca enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, spending time with her family and small day trips in Colombia.

Blanca is survived by her children, Jorge Arturo Farietta of Stoughton and Colombia, Cristina Farietta of Stoughton, Eduardo Farietta and his wife Maureen of Dedham and Julian Farietta and his wife Ana of Stoughton.

She was the grandmother of Adriana, Jorge Jr., Thalia, Jillianna, Micaela, Valentina and Sofia Farietta. She was the sister of the late Emilia Gamboa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service was held from the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Saturday, Feb. 23. Interment was private.

Ruth A. Levy

Ruth A. Levy, of Stoughton, died Feb. 18, 2013. 

Beloved wife for 30 years of the late Hank Levy. Devoted aunt of Marc Raibert and his wife Nancy who lovingly cared for Ruth in her final days, Ella Magee and her husband Kerry, Nancy Pappas and her husband Chuck, all of whom she lovingly cared for as her own children, Jack Levy and his wife Aimee, Rochelle Chap and her husband Irv, Ralph Levy, Frances Levy, and Joan Scheer.

Dear sister of the late Miriam Raibert. Cherished great aunt of Aileen, Alice, Michael, Matthew, and Linda. Loving great-great aunt of six nieces. 

Funeral arrangements handled by Stanetsky Memorial Chapels in Canton. Graveside services were held at Sharon Memorial Park on Wednesday, Feb. 20.

Jeannette V. (Selden) Silva

Jeannette V. (Selden) Silva, 84, died unexpectedly Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Silva.

Born in Boston, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. She worked a Nursing Assistant for many years at the Ann Vinal Nursing Home and Norfolk Nursing Home, both in Stoughton. She retired several years ago.

She was a member of the Natick Praying Indian Tribe and was the Grand Squaw Sachem. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her twelve children, Alfred J. Silva, Jr. of NH, Rosita M. Hovey of Norton, Anthony J. Silva, Ricardo V. Silva, Lolita M. Savory and Alberta M. Silva all of Brockton. Juanita M. Perry of Middleboro, Renardo J. Silva of VA, Juan V. Silva of Whitman, Carlos V. Silva of Westboro, Rita M. Gomes and Shawn V. Silva both of Stoughton.

She was the sister of Gloria Vega of Framingham and the late John Selden, Louis Selden, Annie Selden, Elizabeth Jones, Mildred McKnight and Eleanor Bowles.

She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 22, followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Interment took place at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne.
