The following are obituaries for Stoughton residents or those with Stoughton ties for the week of August 13-19: Sara "Sadie" (Lombardi) Estabrook; Orisa B. (Ben-David) Amador; Albert Karoul; Mary T. (Mahoney) Ward; Beth Noble; and Robin F. Saxe.

Sara “Sadie” (Lombardi) Estabrook

Sara “Sadie” (Lombardi) Estabrook, age 96 of Stoughton, formerly of Canton, passed away August 16, 2012 at the Copley at Stoughton.

Born in Canton, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Carmela (Gallo) Lombardi. Sara lived in Canton most of her life prior to moving to Stoughton in 1991. She was the wife of Donald Estabrook who died in 1988.

Sara was a graduate of St. John’s High School in Canton. For most of her life she was a wife and mother. She worked as a Teacher’s Aide at the Lt. Peter Hanson School in Canton from 1970 to 1979. The children loved her and she loved being with them. Sara was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Samoset Chapter No. 10. She is survived by her children Jeanne Fireman and her husband Irwin of Franklin, Lorne D. Estabrook and his wife Anne of Rochester and Robert Estabrook of Canton.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Stacey Maxwell, Lorne M. Estabrook, Adam and Eric Estabrook and Carrie Estabrook, and her great grandchildren Victoria and Amanda Maxwell, Michael Estabrook, and Mackenzie, Landon and Madeline Estabrook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her many wonderful friends. She was the sister of the late William, James, Felix, and Joseph Lombardi, Philomena Porcaro, Anne Lehan, Antoinette Carucci and Amelia Gregory.

Visiting hours will be held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. Canton, Sunday, August 19 from 4-7 p.m. Relative and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the United Church of Christ Canton Monday morning, August 20 at 11. Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Old Colony Hospice, 1 Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368 or to the United Church of Christ 1541 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021.

Orisa B. (Ben-David) Amador

Orisa B. (Ben-David) Amador, 92, of Stoughton, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012, at the Copley at Stoughton Nursing Home in Stoughton.

She was the wife of the late Dionisio Amador. Born in Cape Verde, she was raised in Cape Verde and Portugal. She came to the United States in 1969 and settled in the Boston Area. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1983. Mrs. Amador was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her two sons Albertino B. Amador and Joseph B. Amador both of Stoughton. She was predeceased by her son Joaquim Amador and her two brothers Hildebert Ben-David and Tino Ben-David. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Thursday, August 16, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Interment took place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.

Albert Karoul

Albert Karoul of Brockton, formerly of Foxboro and Stoughton, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2012.

Beloved husband of the late Sylvia Karoul. Loving father of Stephen Karoul & his wife Unchalee of CT, Marjorie Karoul of Abington and her late husband Glen and Greg Abrams of CA and his late wife Rhonda. Cherished grandfather 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Sarah Goldman.

Graveside services were held at the American Friendship Cemetery in West Roxbury, on Monday, August 13.

Mary T. (Mahoney) Ward

Mary T. (Mahoney) Ward, 82, of Stoughton, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Southeastern Rehabilitation Center in Easton. She was the wife of the late Richard D. Ward.

Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of St. Mary's School and St. John's High School in Canton. She was a resident of Winston Salem, NC for many years where she was also a member of St. Benedict's Church. Mrs. Ward worked as an Administrative Assistant for Southern Bell in Winston Salem, NC. She retired at age 66. Several years ago, Mrs. Ward moved back to Stoughton and lived with her sister Eleanor. In her free time, she enjoyed singing in the St. Benedict's Choir and line dancing.

She was the stepmother of Bonnie Cornwell of GA, Kevin Ward of Wareham, David Ward of Pocasset Anne Marie Ward of NC and the late Mary Ellen Beaton. She was the sister of John F. Mahoney Jr. of NH and the late Eleanor M. Mahoney. She was the grandmother of Brendan Ward, George and Christine Cornwell, Karen White, Marjorie Kane, Michele Beaton, Meredith Rubini, Kevin Ward Jr., Cathy Ward, Elizabeth Sheridan, Allison Smith and Jonathan Ward.

She is also survived by several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral was held from the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton on Saturday, August 18, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church. Interment took place at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Wareham.

Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Beth Noble

Beth Noble of Houston, Texas, formerly of Brockton and Stoughton, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012.

Beloved wife of Scott Patrolia. Devoted daughter of the late Nelson Noble and Trudy Zabarsky. Loving mother of Jacob Noble of Quincy. Dear sister of Stephanie McDonald & her husband Ned of Holliston, Bradford Noble and his wife Janet of Stoughton and Douglas Noble of Boston. Cherished aunt of Ben McDonald, Courtney Nappa, David Noble, Jenn Goldblatt and Allison Noble and great aunt of 9 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service took place at Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel in Canton on Wednesday, August 15.

Robin F. Saxe

Robin F. Saxe of Stoughton passed away on August 3, 2012.

Devoted daughter of Ethel (Lovett) Saxe and the late I. Sumner. Dear sister of Alan Saxe & his wife Ellen of Texas, Helene Mussman & her husband Stephen of Florida. Loving “Auntie” of Todd, Shari and Michael, Corey and Dean. Great “Auntie” of Forest, Miles, Jordan, Maya and Gabby.

Services were held at the Schlossberg Solomon Memorial Chapel in Canton on Tuesday, August 7 at 1 p.m. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Park in Sharon.
