Obituary: Sylvio A. Beaudoin, Korean War Navy Veteran

Sylvio A. Beaudoin, 84, of Bourne and formerly of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at Falmouth Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, Jan. 17.. He was the loving husband of Marie (Joyal) Beaudoin.

Mr. Beaudoin was born and educated in Berlin, N.H. and was a biochemist. He will be remembered mostly for being a wonderful husband, father, Pe'Pe' and family man. Mr. Beaudoin was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving his country during the Korean Conflict.

Sylvio was the son of the late Ovila and Blanche (LaPearl) Beaudoin. He is survived by his children, Richard Beaudoin and his wife Lindie, Jeanne Hickey and her husband Michael, Paul Beaudoin and his wife Terri, Dennise Briscoe and her husband Walter, Pauline Rosas and Theresa Beaudoin. He was the brother of Estelle Hatfield and Carl Beaudoin both of NH and the late Lena Perras. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 4-7 p.m.. Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
