Obituary: Shane T. Gregoire, Stoughton Schools Graduate

Shane T. Gregoire, 41, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, after being stricken ill at his home.

Born and raised in Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton schools. He was a resident of Stoughton for many years, previously living in Westport, and Cranston, R.I. He worked as a manager at Whole Foods in Providence, R.I. for many years. Shane was very artistic and creative and in his free time enjoyed music, drawing, reading and writing and most of all, spending time with his son.

He is survived by his son, Miles H. Gregoire, and his former wife, Marci Gregoire, both of Cranston, RI, his mother, Nancy (Roach) Gregoire, of Stoughton, his brother, Brian M. Gregoire, and his wife, Chrissy of Middleboro, and his sister, Tara N. Fox, and her husband, Ian of Stoughton.

Shane was the grandson of Madeline (Hogan) Roach of Stoughton and the late Paul J. Roach. He was the longtime companion of Holly LaBelle of Westport. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be Monday from 3-6:30 p.m. Donations in Shane's memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
