Obituary: Roger F. McGillicuddy, Was Active in Stoughton Little League

Roger F. McGillicuddy, 67, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died at home on Tuesday, Jan. 14 surrounded by family.

He was the husband of Bonita M. (Banks) McGillicuddy.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Mission Hill and graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Class of 1964, in Jamaica Plain. He resided in Stoughton for 43 years.

Mr. McGillicuddy was a pressman for the Boston Globe for 38 years before retiring 12 years ago. He was the former Chairman of the Pressman Union at the Boston Globe. He was a member of the Randolph Elks and was active in Stoughton Little League for many years. He was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed playing golf and boating.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 8 a.m.,  followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 a.m.. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-8 p.m.. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
