OBITUARIES: Colette L. (Lemay) Revan, Thomas F. Tatarczuk, Jr

The following are local obituaries for Stoughton from Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton.

COLETTE L. (LEMAY) REVAN

Colette L. (Lemay) Revan, 63, died unexpectedly September 21, 2013 after being stricken ill at her home. She was the wife of Gregory V. Revan. Born in New York, N.Y., she was raised and educated in Abington and was a graduate of Abington schools. Mrs. Revan was a resident of Stoughton since 1985.

She worked as the business and operations manager for Smith, Buckley and Hunt Insurance in Brockton for close to 40 years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing with her husband, doing Sudoku puzzles, cooking, playing the coronet and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Matthew Troy Revan of Conn. and Nicole Elaine Revan of Stoughton and Orleans. She was the sister of Phyllis A. Robinson, DA and Lois D. Redican both of Pembroke, Alfred A. Lemay of Halifax, Rosemary C. Walls of Abington and Denise Combs of FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Worcester, the South Shore, New Hampshire, Florida and Maryland.

A Funeral Mass will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday at 10 a.m.. Visiting hours will be Friday from 4-8  p.m. Interment will take place at Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit. Due to family allergies, the family asks that no flowers be accepted. Donations in Colette's memory may be made to Matthew 25, 52 Queen St., Worcester, 01610.

THOMAS F. TATARCZUK

Thomas F. Tatarczuk, Jr., 52, a resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, Sept, 20. Son of Donna L. (Holt) Hodges of Stoughton and her late husband William and the late Thomas F. Tatarczuk and his wife Suzanne, he was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. He was a graduate of Culinary Arts at Southeastern Regional High School, Class of 1979. Tom was a chef in the hotel industry and most recently worked at the Radisson in Hyannis. He was also a boiler operator in Rhode Island. An avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, he was happiest when cooking for his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Tom is survived by his siblings, Mark Tatarczuk and his wife Deborah of Middleboro, Matthew Tatarczuk and his wife Catherine of Norton and Julieann Baker and her husband David of North Easton. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Brittany and Kelsey Baker, Brett, Christopher, Emily, Sarah and Ryan Tatarczuk and Meghan and Jenna Tatarczuk, as well as his longtime friend Judy Walsh, many aunts and uncles.

Visiting Hours were held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, Private interment was at Harrison Village Cemetery in Harrison, ME. Donations in Tom's memory may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attn. Donor Services, PO Box 650309, Dallas TX 75265.
