Mark Edward Day, Jr.: Stoughton Native, Cardinal Spellman Graduate
Services will be held Friday, Jan. 10 and Saturday, Jan. 11.
Mark Edward Day, Jr., 27, died unexpectedly Sunday, Jan. 25, at his home in East Bridgewater, according to the Farley Funeral Home in Stoughton.
He was the beloved son of Mark E. and Lisa M. (Kerwin) Day of East Bridgewater. Born in Stoughton, he was raised in East Bridgewater and was a graduate of Cardinal Spellman, Class of 2004. Mr. Dayalso attended Massasoit Community College and Bridgewater State College. He was an avid reader who enjoyed movies and computer science. He also immensely enjoyed helping his mother who is a volunteer with PAWS New England.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Matthew A. Day of East Bridgewater, his longtime girlfriend Jessica Lundbohm of Holbrook and his grandmothers, Rita M. Kerwin of East Bridgewater and Dolores Day of Canton. He was predeceased by his grandfather William E. Day.
Funeral prayers will be offered in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Saturday Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. Visiting Hours Friday from 6-8 p.m. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery, East Bridgewater.
