Pet of the Week: Ruby

Adopt Ruby through Neponset Valley Humane Society.

Ruby is still waiting for her special someone to come along to adopt her. She is a great cat, very social and friendly, all white with cute double paws and pretty yellow eyes. She is comfortable being picked up and held and is even well behaved for nail trims. She is a mellow and agreeable cat who loves to play. She especially enjoys chasing and retrieving her string toy. She has plenty of spunk and personality and is very entertaining. If you are looking for a cat who will be happy as the only pet and won't mind being alone while you are at work, please consider meeting Ruby. She is afraid of other cats and will thrive in a home where she is the only pet. She has a very fun and cheerful personality and you will look forward to her good humor at the end of your work day. Ruby was a stray and having not done well trying to fend for herself outside, she is absolutely thrilled to be a strictly indoor cat. Please call Neponset Valley Humane Society at 781-769-1990 or email nvhumanesociety@gmail.com to arrange a meeting with Ruby.

Other Humane Society news: Thinking about adopting kittens? Now would be the perfect time. NVHS volunteers are currently caring for many well socialized babies who are great with children. These kittens were all surrendered to NVHS because they were "accidental litters". Please spay/neuter your pet and help every pet find the loving home they deserve. You can see all the awesome cats in need of homes at neponsethumane.org. NVHS is an all volunteer, all foster care 501(c)3 organization. Every donation directly helps animals including spay/neuter and care for sick or injured animals. Donations can be mailed to NVHS, PO Box 544, Norwood MA 02062.
