Stoughton Animal Control Officer Looks to Create Countywide Shelter
Stoughton's ACO hopes for a shared animal shelter for neighboring towns.
Prompted by an issue that involved bringing in, and caring for, five pitbull puppies, Stoughton's animal control officer is pushing for an idea that could cushion the costs, and improve care, for not only Stoughton but surrounding towns.
Michael Gormaley, Stoughton's officer, has approached the Norfolk County Sheriff's Office with an idea for a countywide shared shelter that would involve care by some of the inmates, reports Enterprise News.
