Taste of Stoughton & Business Expo's a Big Hit

A large crowd turned out at Stoughton High to taste the best offerings of Stoughton and to learn more about the business community as Peg Carbone and The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce held The Taste of Stoughton & Business Expo Saturday.

They also helped out the community with a "Stuff a Truck" project that collected food for the Stoughton Food Pantries. Terry Schneider, the executive director of The Stoughton Chamber of Commerce, provided the truck.

The crowd was also entertained by local musicians and the Stoughton High Band.

About Town's Mark Snyder was the master of ceremonies for the event, which was coordinated by his longtime friend, Mark Leppo of Zip Realty and the Stoughton Chamber of Commerce. The two went to nursery school together and have been friends for 55 years.

After the success of Saturday's event, there is already talk of a 2014 Taste of Stoughton & Business Expo.
