Life Teen high school and Edge middle school programs around the globe will unite for the 4th-annual global Life Night and service project called Give It Away Now! - The Oh, Baby! Edition.
We'll be having a baby shower to collect essential items for Friends of the Unborn pregnancy center in Quincy to help mothers and their babies!
Last year Stoughton Life Teen raised $1,127.94 to help build wells in Africa for the Give It Away Now! Life Night. As a global Life Teen family, we totaled over $200,000 which was enough to build and maintain 18 wells in Ghana, Africa. This year, we want to stock the shelves of our local pregnancy resource center and help new and expecting mothers and their babies!
Everyone is invited to drop off baby items in boxes at the entrances of Immacualate Conception Church on Sunday, September 25. Everyone is welcome at the Life Teen Mass which will be celebrated at its usual time of 5:30PM. Afterwards, high school students are invited to continue the night downstairs in the church hall where we will have discussion about the dignity of human life and count the items that have been donated.
