'The Hooker's Daughter' Author to Appear at Ahavath Torah Congregation

What
would drive a wife and mother in 1950s Jewish Boston to become a
prostitute in her own home?  Find out on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at Ahavath Torah Congregation in Stoughton. That evening, author Dale
Stanten talks about her book, The Hooker's Daugher: A Boston Family's Saga , a
book about her mother, who established a home-based prostitution
business to remedy her husband's inability to provide for his family.
 The event is sponsored by Sharon/Stoughton Hadassah in partnership with
Ahavath Torah Congregation Sisterhood.  Admission for Hadassah and
Sisterhood members is $10; admission for non-members is $15.  For more
