Author of The Hooker's Daughter hold talk, book signing in Stoughton


What
would drive a wife and mother in 1950s Jewish Boston to become a
prostitute in her own home? Find out on Wednesday, October 16 at
7:00 PM at Ahavath Torah Congregation in Stoughton. That evening,
author Dale Stanten talks about her book, The
Hooker's Daugher: A Boston Family's Saga ,
a
book about her mother, who established a home-based prostitution
business to remedy her husband's inability to provide for his family.
The event is sponsored by Sharon/Stoughton Hadassah in partnership
with Ahavath Torah Congregation Sisterhood.
