Rewind: Stoughton Digs Out From Post Christmas Blizzard

Stoughton received minimal snow during a rare , but there hasn’t been any snow since and there’s no snow in site for the final week of 2011.

But at this time last year, Stoughton was from the first of several snowstorms that hit town early last winter, which kept the town blanketed until early March.

The hit on Sunday morning, Dec. 26, 2010. It snowed pretty much uninterrupted until midday on Monday, Dec. 27, with the brunt of the storm hitting Stoughton in the overnight hours Sunday into Monday.

Stoughton saw upwards of 18 inches of snow in that storm. High winds complicated cleanup efforts.
