Police Station, Library Give Stoughton Residents Without Power a Place to Plug in

Both facilities are giving residents a place to charge their cell phones and laptop computers as they wait for their power to be restored.

In an effort to help the thousands of residents in Stoughton still without power after Sunday’s , Police Chief Paul Shastany said he was making the Community Room in the available for those looking to recharge their laptops or cell phones.

He said the police department would be making power strips available in the Community Room.

The Community Room will be available for use 24 hours a day, Shastany said.

The is also offering residents a place to recharge their laptops and cell phones and get internet access as the town deals with these mass-power outages.
