Stoughton Media Access Corp. (SMAC) recently opened its new studios at the Lappen's Business Center building at 421 Page Street, Suite 2.

SMAC had previously leased space at the Easton Community Television offices at 50 Oliver Street in Easton.

Wednesday, March 16 marked the first taping of a community show in the new studios, when Snyder's Stoughton taped a debate between the four school committee candidates.

Soon after Snyder's Stoughton was done taping, the set for that show was taken down and the studio was prepared for the set of Community Forum, another SMAC mainstay.

SMAC President (and selectman) John Stagnone and SMAC Executive Director Stephen Innis said they hope to use the new space to attract additional shows, and get community members interested in producing their own programing.
