Photo Gallery: Stoughton's 2011 July 4th Parade

Pictures from Monday's annual July 4th parade.

Take a look at our photo gallery from Monday afternoon’s in Stoughton (more than 100 pictures!).

The parade included the police and fire departments, as well as the fire departments from Canton, Easton, Sharon, Bridgewater and Holbrook, to name a few; vehicles from the Department of Public Works; town and local politicians; local businesses, championship youth sports teams; marching bands; and a collection of unique, and in some cases, antique vehicles.

Hundreds of people lined Park Street and Washington Street to catch all of the action.

About Town columnist Mark Snyder hosted the parade. The parade was organized and run by the Stoughton Community Events Committee.

There are photos from both ends of the parade—when the parade passed through the downtown and towards the end of the parade route near the intersection of Washington and Central Streets.

Special thanks to Jason Tankerley and Gina Wells for contributing photos. Have any photos from any of this weekend's July 4th activities? Email jeffrey.pickette@patch.com and see them posted on this site!

That's my boy! Mr. Cody Corkum from Stoughton's Troop 88 Boy Scout's. I am so proud of him for all his accomplishments. This was his second parade and it was HOT!
