Photo Gallery: ‘March Comes in Like a Lion’ in Stoughton

Winter returns to Stoughton in the form of snow.

It’s been a relatively mild and snowless winter this year, but on the last day of February and on the first day of March, Mother Nature left Stoughton and the rest of the region a small reminder that winter isn’t over yet.

Stoughton saw a small amount of snow on February 29 and March 1—enough to blanket yards across town—and dealt with cold temperatures on March 2.

But, the winter weather isn’t staying around too long. According to the National Weather Service, Stoughton will see temperatures in the 30s and 40s to begin the week, but by the mid to end of this upcoming week, temperatures are supposed to be in the 50s, maybe even reaching the 60s.
