Patch Picks: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

"Patch Picks" is a weekly column highlighting editor and reader picks of great businesses, destinations, services, organizations, activities and more. Check this space every Thursday to see what we have in store for you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! It's the one day of the year where it's acceptable to eat foods or drink beverages that really shouldn't be green...green bagels, muffins, beer?

In the spirit of the holiday, this week Patch Picks presents a list of places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in style. Thursday also happens to be the true start of the Division 1 NCAA Mens' College Basketball Tournament, with 16 games scheduled to start between 12:15 p.m. and 9:57 p.m. And it's Evacuation Day! Just another reason to celebrate.
